Red

Pony Boy "Red" is our youngest pony turning the tender age of four this year. He is a Shetland pony, stands 10.2hh at the shoulder and is a "skewbald" (brown & white) pinto in color.

His plucky nature and genuine love of children has made him a natural for his job as party pony. He has a strong will which we have used to our advantage as he is rarely intimidated or concerned by most things that cause other ponies to become nervous or frightened. He demonstrates an innate desire to take care of his riders, especially the smallest of children. He is a pony proud of his job. He is happiest when he is first to walk at the parties, and being absolutely tireless is unwilling to take a break even when he's earned it.

As a point of distinction, when children are given the opportunity to ride the other ponies, Red is overwhelmingly chosen as their favorite by comparison. Red is also one of the primary reasons that there is a North Bay PonyPals!
